Do you have what it takes to be the Kingsport Oktoberfest Bavarian Brat Eating Contest Winner? The Bavarian Brat Eating contestants vie for the title of Tennessee Brat Eating Champion.

The Bavarian Brat Eating Contest sponsored by Freiberg’s will certainly bring out the best and wurst of the competition. Each contestant is required to don a costume ( German or otherwise) when entering the contest.   The event will be held live on WQUT.

Qualifying rounds will be held at Freiberg’s German Restaurant in Johnson City, TN.  Those that qualify will have free entry into the Kingsport Oktoberfest Bavarian Brat Eating Contest

The Bavarian Brat Eating Contest will be held on the Kingsport Oktoberfest Main Stage located in downtown Kingsport on Main St. at 6:30 p.m. dressed in their favorite character.

For all spectators, this promises to be a fun event where you can root on your favorite Bavarian Brat eating contestant or hero on Saturday, September 24th.

PRIZES

1st place prize is $250 in cash

2nd place prize is $100 in prizes

3rd place prize is $50 in prizes
